Manager, Capital Markets and Analytics – Resolution and Recovery Planning Office

Within the Capital Markets and Analytics, Resolution and Recovery Planning Office (RRPO) is a critical regulatory compliance function that requires banks to develop strategies, actions, and execution plans to recover from extreme financial stress and, in the event of a failure, to resolve the bank with minimal losses to depositors. The RRPO is responsible for managing and overseeing the resolution and recovery plan development and related processes, including coordination with business partners across all parts of the organization and major risk-management functions.

We are seeking a dedicated, disciplined, and analytical professional who excels in a team environment. This associate should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to change quickly. They should also have experience in proactively driving work across functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Own analysis, structuring, and updates for key narrative and data content in the Resolution Plans
  • Lead ongoing automation initiatives and technology integration for more efficient and well-managed resolution plan development processes
  • Build and maintain relationships with diverse partner teams across the company, providing guidance to teams within Finance (Treasury, Balance Sheet Management, Controller’s Group, etc.), lines of business, and operational staff functions
  • Lead evaluation of new regulatory changes and their impact in the Resolution and Recovery Planning space, then incorporate those changes into the Plans
  • Responsible for Resolution Planning Program Management to ensure all components of the Plans are delivered on time and prepare updates for Senior Leadership

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • At least 4 years of experience in Finance
  • At least 4 years of experience in Financial Analysis, or in Operations, or in Reporting or in Risk Management, or in Technology projects or a combination

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 6 years of experience in Finance
  • At least 2 years of experience in people management
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Python & SQL)
  • Well versed in the usage of github
  • Deep understanding of AWS and the core services
  • Ability to leverage specific platforms to build, test and deploy products (Legoland, MLP, Exchange, etc.)
  • Knowledge of dataset management best practices
