The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Payroll Officer to support our centralized payroll function and perform end to end payroll processing.

Responsibilities

  • Running end to end payroll
  • Action payroll requests promptly and accurately such as new hires, exits and changes
  • Run fortnightly payroll process, variance checks and reconciliation of EFT
  • Administer setup of new superannuation funds and reconcile payments
  • Reconcile payroll reports fortnightly after each payroll run and monthly
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Proactively identify opportunities to automate, streamline and simplify payroll processes

Experience/Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in payroll
  • Experience in processing end to end pay
  • Experience in Aurion or PeopleSoft desirable
  • Experience with EOFY payroll process
  • Problem solving, drive for results, decision quality, process improvement
  • Strong excel skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
