Lead the team that is transforming the way VMware Professional Services does business. Help us deliver more value to customers, become more “consumption-obsessed” and collaborate better with other functions across VMware.

Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

  • Lead a team of transformation professionals to ensure initiatives like the following are completed successfully
    • Project Adoption Tracking
    • Investment Funding Services Optimization
    • PS Bundling and Promotions
  • Provide input into the strategy of WWPS and translate the strategy to a set of transformation initiatives that your team will execute
  • Establish the business capabilities of the PS Transformation Office, i.e. methodology, meeting cadences, status reporting, etc., and represent the portfolio of initiatives inclusive of status, issues and path to resolution

The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

  • Strong supervisory, leadership skills, emotional intelligence, and executive presence
  • Proven track record driving services transformation in a global context
  • Proven track record of driving operational rigor and compliance through systems, process and policy transformation.
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong detail and processes orientation
  • Be able to operate successfully in a highly matrixed, rapidly changing environment; can effectively prioritize shifting priorities and changing processes
  • Drive collaboration and influence alignment across CXS, BUs, Core, Corporate Finance, Operations, Partner Organization, CDTO, and Dell
  • Outstanding consultation and advisory skills – can influence and guide executive-level staff, provide guidance and support on strategic plans and initiatives
  • Strong relationship management – can easily build and nurture relationships with stakeholders, lead with influence throughout the organization

What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?

You will report to the WWPS Chief of Staff and work closely with the WWPS Leadership Team. The team is naturally curious and creative, they love digging into the strategy and understanding the “why”, and they also pride themselves in getting things done in a collaborative manner.

Remote: This role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from the location you feel most productive and comfortable.
