Prior USG contracts experience is required, experience with USAF Contracts with Wright Patterson AFB is beneficial . Successful candidate will primarily support Senior Contracts Manager in the coordination, administration, negotiation and execution of contract deliverables and requirements. Support proposal preparation, develop terms and conditions, perform reviews, identify and develop risk mitigation measures and lead negotiation team to achieve award of contracts with the US Air Force for the Combat Rescue Helicopter Program
Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must be a self-starter and able to work in a team environment and provide contractual support and guidance to other assigned program personnel. Candidate must develop and maintain good working relationships, and be adept at dealing with customers, program team members, and industry peers, including upper management. Must be able to work effectively and independently in a dynamic multi-program environment. Must be flexible and able to establish priorities for multiple tasks. Candidate should display excellent problem solving skills and a desire to assist in growing the business and gaining efficiencies to help improve ROS for USG Contracting. Travel may be required based on safety protocols pertaining to COVID.
Desired Skills:
– Advanced understanding of Government Contracts, including FAR and DFAR.
– Familiar with finance principles.
– Communication: utilizes effective verbal and written communication.
– Project Management: effectively organize, prioritize and manage multiple assignments and priorities.
– Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contract experience a plus.
