Who we are looking for

Manager level individual contributor needed for Complex Operations North American Quality Assurance team. This is an opportunity to work closely with other Complex Ops departments and external stakeholders in a varied and challenging role. The QA team reports directly to Senior Management and is an integral part of the operational process.

What you will be responsible for

As a Quality Assurance, Assistant Vice President you will

  • Provide Clients and Senior Management with comments on Alternative Investment fund governing documents as part of on-boarding new business.
  • Review the fund’s first dealing NAV for all Hedge and Private Markets new business.
  • Prepare Quality Assurance fund review files in accordance with internal controls and procedures.
  • Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of accounting policies and procedures adopted by NAV teams. Improve and define best practices.
  • Review and log Pricing Breaches in relation to Hedge funds.
  • Ensure funds are operating in accordance with their governing documents.
  • Document and follow up on any potential errors.
  • Provide NAV teams and Management with comments on technical and accounting queries in relation to Hedge and Private Markets funds.
  • Stay up to date and informed on industry developments.
  • Project work related to Outsourcing, Legal Entity management, State Registrations, and Billing
  • Assist QA Management on various ad hoc projects driven by new regulations, products, and corporate initiatives.
  • Assist with on the job training and mentoring of staff.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Four year college degree
  • Minimum 3 years within financial services industry
  • Preferably operational, audit, and/or risk-based experience
