Who we are looking for

Ideal candidates will have the ability to solution a multitude of different issues for operations teams while providing a high level of customer service and creating efficiencies within the financial reporting process. Will be responsible for regular ticket closure of live financial reporting production issues as well as ongoing maintenance, projects, and risk reduction activities for the ArcReporting application. The ideal candidate will have experience either within Mutual Fund Administration or Project Management. This Officer role is within the Strategy & Support group positioned within and servicing Fund Administration – Financial Reporting operations teams. The current team consists of individuals in Boston, Kansas City, full time remote, and in Bangalore. Looking to add another quality individual to assist us in our ongoing efforts to improve system usage and the overall financial reporting process.

Why this role is important to us

This role as a part of Strategy & Support is paramount to the success of the ongoing support of financial reporting clients on the ArcReporting application. Conversions and implementations of new and existing business is continuing from the legacy tool FundSuite Sx to ArcReporting. Establishing a successful support model is critical for long term success. With the undertaking of a new financial reporting platform comes the need to establish subject matter experts on the application with the ability to communicate both internally and with the applications vendor.

What you will be responsible for

As Fund Administration, Officer you will

  • Assist operations teams through support of ArcReporting initiatives
  • Plan, develop, and implement automated process improvements for Mutual Fund Administration Team using financial reporting platform
  • Act as liaison for Mutual Fund Administration team with vendor and IT stakeholders
  • Utilize Microsoft technology to enhance financial reporting process
  • Introduce and train Mutual Fund Administration Team on new technology
  • Implement new client business on financial reporting software
  • Perform special projects and assume certain responsibilities as assigned by Manager
  • Analyze business requirements to support system development used across multiple client teams
  • Research and troubleshoot existing system production issues

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • 2+ years’ experience in Mutual Fund Administration and/or Project Management
  • Understanding of financial reporting preferred
