The Aladdin Client Services (ACS) Team tackles the hardest, most sophisticated problems in FinTech. We utilize our in-depth understanding of Aladdin, our clients’ businesses, and the investment management process to provide world-class customer service to our rapidly growing, global client base. We are a diverse team and we bring our unique skills and experiences to the table, but we all share a serious passion for solving tough problems and keeping our clients happy.

In this role, you will:

  • Solve client inquiries and help our users, who are industry practitioners at some of the world’s most respected investment institutions, run their businesses on Aladdin
  • Use technology to solve problems – we will teach you the skills you need to succeed, such as maneuvering relational databases and parsing product logs
  • Educate users, leverage service insights, and relay user experience feedback to improve the customer experience and our product
  • Work on a global team, with a local presence – you will get to work with teams across the world, while still engaging with a vibrant local team

You have:

  • 2+ years in the financial or technology industry; client or vendor facing role preferred
  • Fluency in Japanese and English
  • Good academic background, majored in Financial Engineering, Econometrics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, etc
  • Strong interests in client facing, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high self-assurance, positive attitude, and drive
  • Strong communication skills and ability to tailor approach to all corporate levels
  • Ability to manage multiple incidents on a varying level of priority

You may have:

  • Experience in dealing with performance reporting/analysis, risk analytics/modelling, portfolio management or analytics (risk management or pricing/trading desk, etc)
  • Asset management / private banking working experience, and basic understanding of how portfolio managers’ work looks like or at least strong interests to learn from practice.
  • Client portfolio or benchmark onboarding experience as plus, involvement in Quality checks and production-based deliverable in a fast-paced environment
  • Have CFA/FRM certificates or working towards these professional qualifications
  • Experience with query languages and databases
