A Front Desk Specialist is an ambassador of the credit union. They are responsible for creating and maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere for our members. This position will also be performing a wide variety of clerical/receptionist duties, and miscellaneous support functions as assigned.

As a Front Desk Specialist, you will have opportunities to:
- Completes routine office supply ordering.
- Working knowledge of branch operating systems such as Symitar, Synapsys, the Lobby Tracker, and Appointment Concierge in order to assist a member’s needs.
- Maintains a professional working area, that includes always being in control of member situations in the lobby and communicating any issues with management that may need to be escalated.
- Performs various clerical tasks including communication via various channels such as email, chat and phone along with disbursement of items dropped off or delivered.
- Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective business relationship with members, vendors and team members. This includes greeting and receiving
members, answering routine questions and/or directing members to appropriate personnel. Also communicating appointment arrivals to department staff and tending to the needs of the guest. - Completes special projects as assigned.
- Provides administrative support to the branches and internal departments related to physical security requests.
- Assists with the management of Physical Security Helpdesk: prioritizing, completing, and closing tickets; coordinate vendor repairs as required.
- Conducts monthly camera audits for focus and compliance.
- Provides documentation support for BCP events and tabletop discussions or testing.
- Coordinates scheduling and reception of Community Room Guests, vendors and caterers.
- Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Oce of Foreign Assets Control. Additionally, all employees must follow policies and procedures to minimize risk by exercising judgment, raising questions to management, and adhering to policy guidelines.
Experience
Under one year of similar or preparatory experience.
Education/Certifications/Licenses
A high school degree or equivalent
Interpersonal Skills
Courtesy and tact are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with customers and others
inside and outside the organization, generally regarding fairly routine matters for the purposes of giving and
obtaining information or instructions, updating or referring. Communications generally require shorter and not
in-depth discussions.
