About the role
Supports Business Administration Manager, Portfolio managers, and Business Administration by completing administrative tasks assigned.
What are the responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate and manage all Administrative, and Order management procedures and systems
Manage Commercial and Order management Teams
Identify process bottlenecks and take corrective action
Manage Debtors accounts and Query List
Aid with budgeting and forecasting (Monthly and Quarterly)
Develop solutions and action plans for Service Delivery FIN topics
Coordinate and Cleaning of Web cycles: EDI ICC / 3rd Party, 48110000 and FEC’s.
Ensure that costs are controlled and that deviations from budget are investigated and rectified
Produce timely and accurate monthly reports (OoH reach and Quarterly recon)
Ensures compliance with RIC controls
Conduct CCM Quarterly Project reviews
Ensure data quality and consistency in SAP
Support month end closing activities including but not limited to posting of journal entries
Purchasing of foreign contracts for all foreign projects (Hedging forward cover)
Prepare SEC Reporting (forecasting import & export)
Manage all foreign exchange risks within the Business Unit
Perform annual physical verification/ stocktaking of all assets.
Support Month, Quarter and Year end closing
Support the Segment Management with Adhoc reporting and analyses
What Qualifications/Experience is Required:
BCom Degree in Accounting or Equivalent
5 – 8 years’ experience within a Finance Environment (Preferably within an Engineering Sector)
Min 5 Years experience in a Team Leader Function
Previous experience within a Customer Service is preferable
Sound financial attributes/attention to detail
Strong Cost Controlling skills
Strong systems knowledge i.e., SAP Systems (Essential)
• Strong analytical skills
• Good understanding of service and project business and related contractual knowledge
• Willingness to get directly involved with operational matters
• Strong communication skills; must be able to interact with all levels of the organization
• Ability to quickly adapt to new challenges in changing environment
• Decision making skills
• Must be a self-starter
• Strong line management and ability to give clear guidance to the team
