Zarbee’s Naturals, part of the Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc, is currently recruiting for a National Account Manager – Regional Customers.

This position will report to the Associate Sales Director. The National Account Manager (NAM) role is responsible for achieving shipment and consumption goals by developing and leading the execution of business plans for the assigned accounts. This includes 6P fundamentals (product, placement, promotion, pricing and omni opportunities), new item execution and strategic initiatives. The NAM serves as the key sales point of contact for information and action, serving as the voice of customer within the company. The NAM will manage both direct selling relationships and a broker relationship for regional customers. The NAM will need to be able to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks at once.

On November 12, 2021, Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions and approvals. It is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you will be an employee of an entity within the newly created Consumer Health company and your employment will be governed by that company’s employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Empowered to lead Sales Region (Regional Customers)
• Deliver against all assigned KPI’s including shipment quota and trade budget
• Implement 4P’s (product, placement, promotion and pricing) business tactics that align with brand strategies and meet customer needs
• Manage the broker relationship at assigned accounts; including new item presentations, business planning, and training
• Develop annual plans and present to leadership
• Tailors customer-and product group-specific sales presentations to gain support for recommendations
• Manages trade budget for assigned area
• Achieves forecast accuracy by working with Operation and supply chain partners
• Collaborates with finance, supply chain, marketing, sales planning and trade finance to align efforts and tactics with customer(s)
• Acts in the role of primary point of contact for a category or categories with the customer and meets frequently to discuss tactical matters such as progress to goals, promotional initiatives, issues and competitive threats
• Executes new product launches and provides promotional materials appropriate for assigned customer(s)
• Conducts analysis to assess effectiveness of promotional activities and strategies

Qualifications

• 4-year degree is required
• 5+ years prior Consumer Package Goods experience required
• Direct Selling or Sales experience preferred
• Outstanding analytical skills required
• Broad experience working across sales, operations, and marketing preferred
• Ability to interpret and communicate complex business data required
• Syndicated data experience required
• Strategic problem solving and attention to detail required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office required
• Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively required
• Demonstrated ability to build strong business relationships required
• Ability to work effectively within a fast paced, complex matrix environment and to collaborate cross functionally required
• Ability to prioritize and to successfully manage multiple projects/initiatives
• Demonstrate leadership to deliver consistent results required
• Strong Negotiations skills required
• Position requires up to 50% travel
