Taboola is looking for an Agency Development Director to partner with the Agency Development Team across EMEA .

The Agency Development Director is an important hire for the Brands and Agency team at Taboola. This person will lead the partnerships and drive revenue growth across key agency holding companies across EMEA. They will know how to uncover, develop and drive agency revenue with clients teams, have experience working commercial units and planning teams.The candidate should also have experience working with trading desks of major holding companies or independents. They will be heavily supported by all teams at Taboola (Sales, Account Management, Product, Finance, Research, etc…). Skills sets such as communication, experience, ability to work large deals and grit are key.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead liaison between a select portfolio of Agency Holding Companies and Taboola across EMEA, and help them develop best in class solutions for brands and ensure revenue growth across the region.
  • Work with agencies to up level their understanding of Native advertising and structure programs that deliver positive business impact for their clients.
  • Deliver ongoing management and development of agency relationships to ensure ongoing business including Managed Service and Programmatic bookings running in the UK and internationally.
  • Work closely with local market sales teams across EMEA to ensure best in class client service and support on achieving local sales objectives.
  • Work strategically and identify creative opportunities for revenue growth, and work with internal teams at Taboola to achieve these
  • Leverage their existing network of high-level agency executives to introduce and evangelise Taboola as an important and necessary partner.
  • Assess product / market needs and create recommendations re pricing, supply chain, technical integrations required to accelerate the growth of this market segment
  • Successfully create key partnerships with agency traders and evangelise, influence and motivate them to consider Taboola as a preferred partner in all Native advertising solutions,
  • Collaborate with internal sales teams, to execute against trading deals and drive deal fulfilment.
  • Effectively communicate agency needs to internal teams including product, engineering, marketing, and operations to help shape the Taboola investment in innovation to drive the Brand and Agency business

Requirements:

  • A deep rolodex of senior agency leaders and decision makers at the major agency trading desks in the market (including subsidiaries of the big HoldCos or independents)
  • Over 6 years of advertising agency experience (either from within an agency or from working closely with agencies)
  • Vast knowledge of the competitive landscape in ad tech industry
  • Proven track record of closing large deals ($3M+) and executing programmatic partnerships
  • Outstanding persuasive communication and presentation skills communicating complex solutions
  • A deep knowledge of Native and Video advertising solutions.
