DESCRIPTION
Intelligent Automation BPM Delivery team is looking for a Senior Delivery Manager /Co-Lead who can be placed in one of our EMEA offices. It’s a senior people management role with a dual split of responsibilities: 50% of the candidate’s effort will be focused on co-leading day-to-day operations of our dynamically growing IA BPM Delivery practice and the other 50% of candidates effort will be focused on client-facing work.

Reporting to Head of IA BPM Delivery team, a successful candidate will bring hands-on experience in managing a busy and dynamically growing team of BPM Software engineers, Business Analysts, QA engineers and Delivery Managers specialized in Pega, Appian, Camunda, Opentext and other BPM technology platforms. It is a ‘must have’ to demonstrate product certifications and 8-12 years of experience in, at least, one of the strategic BPM solutions gained in a product company, or global services / vendor companies.

We are supporting Employment Contract or B2B, depending on your preferences.
Responsibilities

  • From Delivery Management and client-facing projects perspective, a candidate will be accountable for the overall project delivery, client satisfaction and expectations management while ensuring the work is aligned with strategy, implemented on time and within budget. Among others, the main responsibilities will be:
    • Coordinate the preparation of customer proposals and statements of work
    • Deliver customer projects successfully
    • Manage customer expectations and relationship
    • Ensure that projects are delivered in line with EPAM process and methodologies and BPM best practices
    • Address Customer issues during an engagement in cooperation with an Account Manager
    • Ensure a customer executes their responsibilities on the engagements
    • Identify and Manage engagement risks and flag major issues early
    • Lead overall project management, time estimation, and resource scheduling
    • Prepare engagement revenue and resource forecasts
    • Prepare engagement timesheets and billing information
    • Prepare weekly/monthly engagement reports
    • Prepare estimations on time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully Implement projects; develop the project plan incorporating all project variables
    • Establish criteria concerning deliverability, performance, maintenance, design and costs
    • Assist in analyzing client processes through needs analysis and recommending new business models, workflows, or innovative solutions
    • Contribute to and manage engagement and process improvements
    • Suggest innovative solutions to business problems/processes that leverage technology to provide marketing differentiation, efficiency improvements, and better user experiences
    • Occasional mentoring of peers, including making sure that the offshore and onsite project teams undertake their duties effectively
    • Travel to client sites as needed

  • As Co-Lead at IA BPM Practice, you will bring ideally hands-on experience in:
    • Leading or providing contributrion to technical presales and business development activities
    • Preparation of high-level estimates, technical solutions, proposals, etc
    • Leading client-facing presentations, discovery sessions, ideation and inception phases, etc
    • Demonstrate strong communication skills having excellent presentation, report writing and data analysis capabilities
    • Ability to work under pressure, change direction when required and work on a range of client projects at the same time
    • Able to work in a remote/ distributed global team of different cultures and time zones
  • From Delivery Management perspective, ideally you will bring experience in the following areas:
    • Senior account/engagement management experience in the domain industry as well as managing and working with offshore teams
    • 8-12 years’ experience working in consulting or outsourcing account management
    • Demonstrated product certifications in, at least, one of the strategic BPM solutions (Appian, PEGA, other BPM technology) gained in a product company, or global services/vendor companies
    • 5+ years’ project management experience including SCRUM methodology
    • Certified Scrum Master
    • Ability to establish solid working relationships with clients, to work effectively as a virtual member of a dynamic, dispersed team and to meet deadlines
    • Strong experience in working with distributed teams on the client side
    • Excellent communication, presentation and planning skills
    • Exceptional organizational, leadership and stakeholder management skills
    • Self-motivated, multitasking, reliable to deliver on time, a quick-thinker, able to work in a fast-paced work environment
    • Strong people leadership skills
