They are there to provide expertise to member, customer, and providers. Being the liaison for the member and provider. Help with anything to basic questions, prior authorization or anything customer service or claims related. Helps support with city wellness.

This position is full-time. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 306 E. Jackson St, 5th Floor, Tampa, Fl 33602.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 4 + years of direct client facing customer service experience and/or account management experience
  • Medical Terminology
  • Experience in Claims Payments, Claims Adjustments, or Enrollments
  • Experience with communicating complex problem solving scenarios with a client and internal stakeholder
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (general spreadsheet navigation, sorting and data entry), Microsoft Word (creating and editing documents), Microsoft PowerPoint (basic presentations) and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar)
  • Ability to travel 5% of the time locally
  • Ability to work in 306 E. Jackson St, 5th Floor, Tampa, Fl 33602
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. Preferred Qualifications:

  • ISET Claims Systems experience
  • UNET Based Programs Experience CES, TOPS
  • Bilingual fluency in English/Spanish

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to multi – task including the ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product
  • Effective Written and Verbal Communication skills
  • Experience with communicating complex problem solving scenarios with a client and internal stakeholder
