THE POSITION:

The Head of Procurement Services will report to the Senior Director of Procurement & Property. This role is responsible for developing the strategic approach for creating and implementing processes, protocols, and procedures of these departments. The Head of Procurement Services is responsible for supporting negotiating contracts and terms that drive cost efficiencies and value to the company. 

The Head of Procurement Services will design and execute FanDuel’s strategy to achieve best in class spend governance, Supplier Risk & Relationship Management (SRRM) and Supplier Intelligence Management (SIM). In conjunction with the global procurement leadership, this role leads the development and rollout of Fanduel procurement policies, processes and systems to implement this strategy. This person has a passion to achieve the improvements needed to deliver excellence in Procurement Services. They must be a strong ambassador for the Procurement team and FanDuel as a whole.

THE GAME PLAN:
Everyone on our team has a part to play

•    Facilitate, develop, and implement strategies for spend governance, SRRM and SIM for FanDuel in conjunction with global procurement leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
•    Owner of the P2P process which includes: Contract Preapproval & Management, PO raising and receiving, SRRM (including vetting) and Reporting and KPI’s
•    Help devise FanDuel systems plan for technology required to implement strategy for spend governance, SRRM and SIM in conjunction with global procurement leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
•    Support selection of technologies required for global Procurement processes
•    Manage relationships with cross-functional FanDuel stakeholders (e.g. Legal, Tax, IT Security, Technology, Finance Systems) to ensure procurement technologies are effectively implemented
•    Support development of global SIM to centrally collate and store all information relevant to suppliers in a highly secure yet accessible environment. Such information to include supplier intelligence under the headings of:- Supplier Risk , Performance , Spend Analytics  and Category Management
•    Support implementation of SIM for Fanduel (e.g. provision of intelligence on local supplier risk and performance)
•    Support development of global SRRM Framework to manage supplier performance and all types of risk prevalent throughout supplier life cycle
•    Develop strategy, tools, and processes (e.g. Sharepoint, Workplace) for communication of procurement policy, processes and implementations to cross-functional Fanduel stakeholders
•    Manage FanDuel Procurement Services (PS) team based in USA to ensure excellence in service to global customers
•    Manage and support best practice Travel & Entertainment policy and operating process in FanDuel
•    Responsible for audit requests by providing information and complying with audit actions and plans

THE STATS:
What we’re looking for in our next teammate

•    Minimum of 7 years’ procurement leadership experience 
•    Bachelor’s degree or relevant CIPS qualification strongly preferred
•    Strong knowledge of best practice Procurement policy, processes and systems and experience of leading global projects to improve same
•    Proven track record in successfully managing large, diverse teams towards high performance across multiple jurisdictions
•    Enthusiastic, with a high level of self-motivation to overcome obstacles
•    Ability to work independently and as part of an international team in a dynamic environment
•    A demonstrable track record of cost reduction through supplier selection and contract negotiation
•    Ability to communicate with senior management in a self-confident and professional manner
•    Ability to be good ambassador of FanDuel externally, presenting a positive and professional face of the business at all times
•    Experience in managing complex supply chains is highly desirable
•    Strong commercial acumen and understanding of key business drivers to deliver savings for the business
•    Be able to prioritize workload, work to tight deadlines, adaptable, detail-oriented, organized, and monitor several activities at the same time
•    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
