You should be proactive and possess a good conceptual understanding of payment processing in e-commerce ecosystem. The position will involve frequent interaction with leaders at PayPal and external partners. Travel may be occasionally required, but minimal. Work location is flexible.

The Global Acquiring & Processing Partnership team is responsible for leading commercial strategy and relationships with financial institutions providing payment processing capabilities for PayPal Inc across all verticals and multiple regions. We are seeking a high-energy and innovative professional with a passion for improving how people manage and move money. The Manager for Global Payments Partnerships will sit at the center of our team, supporting our relationship managers by creating, leading, and executing critical business processes and projects. Reports to:  Director, Global Acquiring & Processing Partnerships

Responsibilities: 

  • Providing day-to-day business support, maintaining oversight, and supporting business as usual activities as they relate to our acquiring and/or processing partners.
  • Identifying, owning & managing to successful resolution issues or opportunities related to our acquiring and/or processing activities
  • Gather inputs from and coordinate with internal cross-functional stakeholders (including risk, compliance, product, engineering, treasury) on creation and execution of partner strategy
  • Develop and execute programs/projects with our global partners to further Paypal’s strategic goals and overall positioning in key verticals and markets.

Qualifications: 

  • Experience working within the payments industry, ideally in a fast-moving and e-commerce orientated company.
  • Deep conceptual payment processing knowledge and key technologies employed in e-commerce flow
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence outcomes in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
  • Experience building + managing relationships with external partners, suppliers, vendors.
  • Effective and self-sufficient with the ability to operate comfortably and independently within a complex global environment

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or Finance  
  • MBA, Master’s degree, or equivalent work experience preferred
