Job summary
Amazon is looking for a talented, smart, and partner oriented Technical Account Manager for the Video Games category within the Hardlines organization. This role is an ideal start to a dynamic career path at Amazon for an ambitious candidate who is eager to deliver on new ideas, craft new tools and scale our processes. As a Technical Account Manager, you will be the direct connection between our business and tech teams, focus on automation and build new processes for items such as ASIN creation and Key Redemption. The candidate will need to be able to flex their Think Big muscles be able to think long term in an ambiguous setting. Our environment is fast-paced, and requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, and analytical.

Key job responsibilities

  • Using your technical acumen and customer obsession, you’ll drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management
  • Lead strategic initiatives across the broader organization with global scale.
  • Leverage feedback and data to build or change requirements of the program.
  • Innovate, develop, and iterate on solutions based on customer feedback
  • You’ll build solutions, provide technical guidance and advocate for the customer.
  • Uplift capabilities by running workshops, brown bag sessions, etc.
  • With a bias for action, you’ll proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value.

About the team
The Video Games team manages the physical and Digital businesses at Amazon that includes but isn’t limited to Instock Management, Buying and Program Management. The candidate will help build the most seamless buying experience for customers in an ever changing industry, while also focusing on working with internal customers and stakeholders to deliver on automation and better features for those clients.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Leadership experience in a professional environment.
• Experience analyzing data to support decision making
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Word)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in consulting or technical account management
• Proven analytical skills
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
• Experience communicating effectively at all levels of an organization
• Thrives in ambiguity and fast-paced environment
• Proactive attitude, detail-oriented, and a team player
• Strong oral and written communication
• Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize
