The North American Digital Partnerships team is part of the Visa Global Products, VAS, & Digital Partnerships organization. This is a key pillar of Visa’s strategy to grow the breadth and depth of our client offerings. The global organization provides access to product development to solve customer needs from securing the network to optimizing the payment experience to consulting and analytics. Collectively, we are responsible for ensuring Visa remains on the cutting edge of digital innovation.

North American Digital Partnerships is specifically tasked with identifying, contracting, and managing clients across fintech segments in the region. The team has both business development and relationship management scope. The culture is highly collaborative, with a bias towards action and appreciation for challenging the status quo.

This role is focused on supporting growth with partners in the Banking as a Service sector. These clients, who sit between traditional financial institutions and emerging fintech companies to seamlessly enable payment products, are exciting new entrants to the market.

Job Description and Responsibilities

The Analyst, NA Digital Partnerships will be a key member of the NA Digital Partnerships team. The position will work closely with the Senior Director, NA Digital Partnerships BaaS sector to support BaaS client growth opportunities. In addition to enhancing specific client relationships, the team will work to adapt the Visa strategy for this enabler segment as a whole.

Achieving these objectives will require collaborating with a variety of cross functional Visa teams to deliver the best of Visa, including Network Products, New Payment Flows, and Client Services.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform key functions including strategy development, program management and performance monitoring to drive the Visa NA BaaS Strategy
  • Support key client engagements
  • Deliver an exceptional experience with Visa for clients by understanding their needs, working across the Visa solutions stack, and acting as an internal advocate for the client
  • Create rigorous and accessible analytic and strategic frameworks for evaluating program success
  • Continuously review market landscape, identifying partnership opportunities and solution offerings that will position Visa as the market leader
  • Absorb new topics and concepts quickly. Act as subject matter expert on BaaS for both internal and external forums
  • Develop clear and concise executive level communications. Communicate recommendations to senior management and other executive, functional, or regional staff in an impactful way

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both home and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office three days a week, Monday (Sunday in some countries where Sunday is the start of the week) and Wednesdays. Wednesdays are designated as in-office collaboration days. The third day in the office will be decided based on team needs and determined in partnership with senior leadership. 


Basic Qualifications
• 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications
• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD

• Passion for payments and FinTech
• Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
• Willingness to learn and execute effective relationship management strategies, including integrating new products and solutions
• Proven ability to implement strategic initiatives with efficiency, professionalism and with demonstrated trouble shooting/problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to coordinate internal and external resources and nurture cross functional relationships, including in a matrixed environment
• A willingness and ability to be flexible and do what is needed across the team
• Demonstrated ability to ‘ramp-up’ quickly, manage multiple workstreams at the same time, and work with sense of urgency
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
