Job Description

We are looking for a Revenue Growth and National Account Manager for our Consumer business in Germany. The role will combine a sales responsibility in managing national and key accounts in Germany, together with an expertise and inshights on Revenue Growth Management (RGM), which is a growth opportunity for Kimberly-Clark Germany.

You will work closely with the West European RGM team and the German Commercial team, to optimize the areas of pricing, assortment optimization, promotion, and trade spend / ROI. You will support Sales, Marketing and Management to develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and profit and sustainably optimize customer plans and activities. Furthermore, the role supports Key Account Managers in preparation for annual meetings, redefining KPIs and setting up post-assessment to optimize promotions, format, and pricing activities.

The role reports to the Country Manager Consumer Germany and manages a team of 2 direct reports (Account Planners).

National Account Manager:

  • Growth and optimization of a defined customer portfolio through customer retention and growth
  • Portfolio management incl. creation and implementation of business plans
  • Strong collaboration with the sales team through campaign management, experience and knowledge exchange and by supporting the implementation
  • Price negotiations at central level to maximize sales and profitability, enforcement of Price increases

Revenue Growth Manager:

  • Tracking of RGM financial metrics for 2022.
  • Develop, implement, and track the initiatives
  • Develop and embed capabilities
  • Continuous change management of the way the RGM enterprise works.
  • Train local teams on the 5 levers of RGM, principles and methodologies.
  • Support the implementation of the appropriate tools and automation of analyses
  • Supporting of Country Manager in Analysis or specific projects when needed

Qualification

  • Solid professional experience, preferably with a focus on Sales (FMCG) and Revenue Growth Management (RGM), within an international Company. The ideal candidate can also have Finance/Controlling background or experience as a Category Analyst / Manager in the Retail sector.
  • Strong project management skills as well as excellent analytical skills to optimize the status quo
  • Commercial acumen and strategic focus
  • Team player, assertive, goal-oriented excellent communication skills as well as conflict management skills;
  • Fluent in German and English
