About the Role

The way the world eats is changing, and digital ordering has grown to a significant portion of all restaurant delivery and takeout. Uber has already had an impact on how millions of people live their daily lives, and we’re still just scratching the surface of what we can accomplish!

Uber Eats Taiwan is looking for sharp, highly motivated individuals to join our Small-to-Medium Sized Business (“SMB”) Account Management Team. As an SMB Account Manager, you will work efficiently and effectively with our SMB restaurant partners to optimize restaurant operations, strengthen our collaborations through excellent customer service, and drive mutually beneficial revenue growth. This is a client-facing role as an individual contributor.

What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points:

—- What the Candidate Will Do —

• Collaborate with a high-value portfolio of restaurant partners to help them realize their full potential on the Uber Eats platform through product adoption, customer satisfaction, development of new sales opportunities, and retention
• Use dashboards to monitor business and operational impact and use those insights to provide operational guidance, including live consulting to help streamline delivery operations
• Conduct phone calls to restaurant partners with clear goals, talking points and strategies to get clients to provide valuable feedback
• Seek out opportunities and recognize additional revenue potential, including upsell and cross-sell of related products
• Identify key risks to our partnerships, and work quickly and diligently to ensure we are delivering the best possible experience for our partners
• Collect and synthesize restaurant partner feedback into insights that can advise and drive the product and business roadmap.
• Work closely with key cross-functional teams including Sales, Onboarding, Support, Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to help define, develop and execute effective strategies that drive increased value for restaurant partners
• Build meaningful relationships to make Uber Eats the delivery platform of choice

—- Basic Qualifications —

• Minimal 3 years of experience in sales or account management with a track record of fast growing responsibility in sales or customer growth.
• Strategic thinking and planning with key stakeholders, to build sustainable competitive advantage in the market.
• High degree of comfort with change
• A builder’s spirit; making something where nothing existed before gets you excited.
• Fluency in English and Chinese required

• Knowledge of the Taiwan food and beverage scene is a plus
• Data-driven decision making mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking.
