Job summary
As an Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Sales Representative at AWS, you deliver digital transformations through effective engagement with C-level executives, IT leaders, architects & developers. In this role, you are establishing Amazon Web Services as the key cloud technology provider across the (greenfield) ISV accounts you manage, promoting the entire AWS product and services portfolio to ISVs.
On a daily basis you empower your customers to solve challenges while attaining both their operational and innovation goals. You deliver business outcomes while guiding them to become more agile, innovative, and efficient.

Key job responsibilities
Roles and responsibilities:

  • Building relationships with all aspects of the customer’s organization including C-level executives, engineering, IT/operations, partner org, and sales.
  • Visioning and executing the account strategy via collaboration with an extended AWS team to address all the customer’s needs.
  • Responsible for selling at the most senior (C-level) within the account and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and AWS service implementation.
  • Working collaboratively with all appropriate AWS resources (Executives, Partner, Support, Solution Architect) to support customer interests, and will understand how to strongly advocate for customer and balance that with AWS business needs. This includes dotted line responsibility for partnership and technical collaboration.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience as a quota carrying technology field sales individual, or business development professional
  • Experience increasing technology adoption and creating long term transformational account strategies
  • Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and other lines of business
  • Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects
  • Demonstrable achievement of targets paralleled with continuous advancement in career
  • Fluency (both written and spoken) in English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive customer network throughout the Benelux
  • Experience in developing greenfield customers
  • Experience promoting cloud solutions
  • Cross functional selling experience (Architect, Sales Engineer, Professional Services, Partner, and ISV)
