Everbridge is looking for a Remote Business Solutions intern to support leading edge technology company helping to make the world a safer place for corporate customers.
Compensation: $16/hour; flexible schedule
Responsibilities of the Intern will be to coordinate the research and setup of risk intelligence trials for new prospects. This will involve web browser research to find company office locations, data entry into Excel file and software configuration in our proprietary tools so that companies can receive physical security risk intelligence around their locations. It will also involve tracking the trials so that they run for a preset amount of time and are then disabled. The position will also involve working on list creation, list updates and reports to keep customer information updated in our customer relationship software tool. The position will work closely with our marketing and sales teams, our center of excellence and give exposure to cutting edge risk intelligence data and customer relationship management software. All training will be provided as well as ongoing coaching to ensure we meet and exceed our goals.
Schedule will entail approximately 20 hours a week with flexible hours. Projects will be sent via email to be worked on as you are available. Immediate start date preferred. Project likely funded through the end of the calendar year.
Performance Expectations and Accountabilities
• Internet research on Fortune 1000 and Global 2000 companies using web browser technology
• Data collection on office locations and addresses
• Management of data in an XLS spreadsheet
• Configuration within Everbridge cloud-based platform to capture relevant information through the creation of risk profiles
• Tracking of trials and customer reference requests using spreadsheets and tracking software
• Coordinating with existing sales and account management teams
• Creation of heat maps and custom reports of risk intelligence data
• List creation and management of customer accounts to update their products purchased and account preferences
• Reports generated to track trial and customer activity
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
• Reliable and Punctual
• Currently pursuing College Degree
• Previous data entry experience desirable
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft PowerPoint
•Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
