What you’ll be doing…

As part of the Renewals team at Tableau, based in London, you would be responsible for achieving a high level of customer retention, by driving maintenance and subscription renewals for an assigned territory. Our Renewals Managers work closely with Tableau’s customers, interacting regularly to sell the benefits of a renewal and educating them on effective license management, sell against cancellation, and confidently articulate the value of Tableau.

Some of the things you will be doing include…

  • Product renewal revenue quota: Responsibility for Tableau maintenance and subscription renewal contracts, revenue, and renewal rates for an assigned territory.
  • Transactional sales: This sales role is highly transactional, with hundreds of renewals to collect quarterly.
  • Increase the renewal rate: Ensuring high renewal rates and can speak to the value Tableau will bring to organisations by understanding strong product positioning and pipeline management skills. Collaboration across the organisation to develop strategies, retain existing client base and maximise revenue growth.
  • Pipeline management: Tightly manage the renewal sales cycle including selling against cancellations, assisting customers through the sales cycle, and updating the CRM system according to documented processes.
  • Forecasting: Awareness and accuracy of pipeline; comfortable with accurately maintaining a forecast of all renewals within an assigned territory.
  • Customer check-ins: You will periodically check in with customers throughout their contract period to ensure the health and adoption of the account.

Who you are…

  • Experienced. Previous experience in renewals, account management, sales and/or customer success experience is required. Previous software and/or technology experience is preferred.
  • Sales Acumen. Impeccable business acumen and a strong analytical mindset.
  • Excellent Communicator. Strong communication skills; with the ability to provide excellent customer service at all time, and an ability to effectively communicate Tableau’s value. Fluency in Polish and English is essential.
  • A True Team Player. You will need to work cross departmentally and be the voice of the customer. It is crucial you can lead others towards a common goal, strategise with account managers, and build strong relationships with champions in accounts to ensure the adoption and success of Tableau within the organisation.
  • Problem Solver. Able to clearly identify a problem, propose a solution, and resolve customers’ issues.
  • Multi-Tasking. The ability to deal with a highly transactional work environment. You will have to be able to excel at time management and prioritisation.
  • Determination. Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; self-motivation and resourcefulness.
  • People Person. You have strong interpersonal skills and an ability to maintain strong effective relationships with both customers and colleagues.
