Senior Associate, Finance

Perform, review and analyze finance functions.

  • Perform accountant duties for firm finance
  • Analyze monthly financial statements
  • Oversee Billing Function
  • Coordinate Commission Process
  • Prepare Ad-hoc research/reports

Support and enhance the business unit and firm operations.

  • Assist with the implementation of finance operating plans and best processes initiatives to support the one-firm concept
  • Identify opportunities for personal and firm improvement
  • Provide support to partners and managers in regards to finance matters to support business unit objectives and growth

Lead and Develop Team

  • Train new staff, coach and mentor current staff
  • Manage workflow of finance department staff
  • Work with team to create best processes and efficiencies for tasks

Maintain and expand knowledge base in areas of responsibility

  • Comply with continuing education requirements; participate in professional organizations, independent study, etc.
  • Maintain current knowledge of local, state and federal practices and laws; evaluate and advise on the impact of new related strategies, programs, and/or regulatory actions
  • Integrate new knowledge and skills into daily work and share with colleagues as appropriate

  • Participate in special projects


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in accounting, finance or bookkeeping required.
  • Ability to work independently with technical competence.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication and solid Microsoft Suite skills (Excel) required.
  • Ability to provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, maintain confidentiality, display appropriate ethical knowledge.
  • A sense of urgency and a commitment to quality and timely completion of projects.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, as well as ability to follow directions / procedures required, as well as work in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment with frequent interruptions.
