Finance Team Mission:

• Be a trusted advisor to the GCIB business and finance teams
• Establish and maintain financial discipline across budgeting, forecasting and reporting
• Analyze financial performance to optimize resource deployment, including capital, liquidity & expense dollars
• Advise on areas of growth and investment for the business

Background and Responsibilities:

• Investment Banking Product Group Financials
  • Analyze business performance: revenue, expenses, balance sheet and returns
  • Work with business and finance teams to ensure accuracy of actuals and generate timely/detailed/accurate forecasts/budgets and resulting variance analysis
  • Build out pipeline reporting and balance sheet walks
• Project Work
  • Process improvement for forecasting, RWA, timelier analytics, etc.
  • Assist in data attribution project to enhance current Product and Coverage/Client View reporting
• Regular interaction with front office business and finance heads and their teams

Skills/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 0-3 years of financial analysis
• Detail oriented self-starter
• Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Effective presentation & written communication skills
• Modeling and data analysis skills
• Experience with Excel and PowerPoint, with ability to model and create complex spreadsheets, look up tables, pivot tables, and understand/analyze the results
• Knowledge of Hyperion/Essbase is preferred
