    REQUIRED EDUCATION: (degree, licenses, certifications, etc.)
    – Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent in related field)
    – Certified Public Accounting license (active or inactive) preferred

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: (work related, tools/equipment, software, etc.)
    – Related Functional Experience: Minimum 2 years public and/or corporate accounting experience
    – Good analytical skills
    – Good knowledge of GAAP and financial reports
    – Good verbal and written communication skills

    Primary responsibility for performing financial analysis to be used by Division Ops team to assess financial and operational performance. Provides support in feasibility land acquisition modeling, annual planning, quarterly forecasting, historical cost and budget analysis, and expense performance comparisons.

    – Assists in the feasibility land acquisition process by preparing models to support the Land and Finance teams
    – Assists in the preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual plan
    – Consolidates budget submissions from various departments and perform budget analysis
    – Reviews overhead performance and develops benchmarks to monitor performance
    – Prepares reports and analysis to management including, but not limited to variance reports and operational metrics
    – General ledger month end reporting and account reconciliations
    – Verifies accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications in accordance with GAAP and Company policies
    – Prepares and reviews supporting documentation for transactions and general ledger balances in compliance with Company policy and Sarbanes-Oxley documentation requirements
