Support our businesses in the America as a Sr. Analyst, Group Tax Reporting and work across a range of tasks relating to the Tax attributes and compliance of the Macquarie group in the Americas and particularly the USA.

Support our businesses in the America as a Sr. Analyst, Group Tax Reporting and work across a range of tasks relating to the Tax attributes and compliance of the Macquarie group in the Americas and particularly the USA.

Your attention to detail will be utilized as you assume responsibility for the preparation and/or review of tax provision, effective tax rate calculations, taxable income and deferred tax computations as well as preparing test tax basis computations based on balance sheet approach for book/tax differences. You will prepare tax payable and tax receivables reconciliations for cash flow and Foreign Exchange hedging purposes and assess potential impact of changes in organizations from a tax compliance and accounting perspective.

Additionally you will be involved in the preparation of corporate federal and state income and franchise tax returns (annual, quarterly, extensions) of entities and consolidated groups within the Americas Region as well as opportunities to work on partnership and other investment structures.

Bringing your collaborative approach, you will assist the business in preparing analysis for transactions. In addition, you will liaise with the Tax Advisory department to comprehend US tax law requirements on specific transactions as well as liaising closely with Business Unit Finance, Legal Entity Controllers and Tax Advisory teams to understand and highlight potential tax technical issues with accounting positions, transactions and new products.

To be successful in this role you will have a bachelor’s degree, in accounting and/or finance, Masters in Tax and or CPA bringing a minimum of three to five years of relevant experience in Financial Services or in an Accounting Firm.
