What you’ll do…
Want to use your leadership and risk and control skills to help the company deliver on their key strategic goals and initiatives to enable Walmart’s Internal Controls SOX Program? The Director – Global Internal Controls – Enterprise Business Services is a strategic thought-leadership role that requires strong financial acumen and digital literacy as well as strong collaboration skills to provide consultative audit support services to our Enterprise Business Services Division.
This second line of defense role is the glue between our internal/external audit teams and control and process owners with the Enterprise Business Services function including the US and LATAM operations, focusing on numerous Back Office processes. The ability to understand audit standards, SOX implications, complex business processes and financial statement risks is crucial to success in this role. The successful candidate also possesses a high degree of technology aptitude and is a team player. Reporting to the Senior Director – Global Internal Controls, this role has a large scope of work and will get exposure to a wide variety of processes and stakeholders.

- Providing first class customer service to our audit teams as well as process and control owners within the EBS organization
- Provide advice and consultation to key stakeholders regarding internal controls and risk
- Ensure the annual SOX audit is executed efficiently and effectively through preparation and counsel
- Contributing to identifying and managing changes to the control environment
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
- CIA (Certified Internal Auditor)
- CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
- SOX or External/Internal Audit Experience
