- Analyze the monthly revenue of contracts as assigned.
- Analyze and accrue monthly costs of contracts as assigned.
- Understand the profit and loss of contracts as assigned
- Reconcile the Accounts Receivable and Unbilled Receivables of contracts as assigned
- Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reports
- Perform account reconciliations and analyses, prepares journal entries and reviews accounting classifications, in accordance with generally-accepted accounting principles
- Involvement in the monthly/quarterly ‘close’ process
- Prepare documentation in support of external and internal audits
- Review the work of others
- Develop innovative approaches for continued improvement in efficiency and effectiveness

- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience with government contracts, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
- Public accounting experience
- Healthcare experience
- Accounting experience handling regulated entities
- Experience with CostPoint Accounting System
- Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $54,400 to $97,000. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $60,000 to $106,700. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
