Job Description
The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to:

-Prepare journal entries in conjunction with the monthly closing
-Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
-Update and maintain accounting records and schedules
-Prepare reports for management
-Respond to inquiries from operations
-Responsible for various Sarbanes-Oxley controls and ensure that those controls are operating effectively and taking place at the appropriate time intervals, consistent with internal documentation
-Provide documented evidence of aforementioned Sarbanes-Oxley controls when requested
-Provide detail for various operational-related requests
-Assist Senior Accountant(s)/Accounting Manager(s) with special projects
-Assist others with job duties

Required Qualifications
1+ year of Accounting / Finance experience

Preferred Qualifications
Use computer programs/software to assist in essential accounting functions including:

-Microsoft Office( Word, Excel and Outlook)

Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet applications
Good communication and analytical skills
CPA and/or MBA a plus

Bachelor’s degree or equivalate experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
