Description:The JCWS team is seeking a Finance Manager to support the cost management team. This manager responsible for Javelin Joint Venture Accounting team, Engineering Services Finance team and OS&P Reporting team scope and includes cost analysts and student staffing.
Responsibilities include oversight of day-to-day program financial activities, performing all cost management duties for the active contracts, and will be responsible for leading, reviewing and coordinating the quarterly program OS&P financial reporting process. Serves as the liaison to program management and functional leads for financial information, analysis, and reports for all JCWS contracts. Provides interface for program to functional business organizations including LM FP&A/accounting and Joint Venture business teams. Responsible for program level training supporting skill set and individual growth for the team members.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Management from an accredited university
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels, including Senior Leadership
Proficient with accounting and financial systems/processes
Demonstrates strong analytical skills
Ability to prioritize tasks, assume ownership, and drive projects and issues to completion
Considered an emerging authority
Proficient with Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and other advanced functions, Word, PowerPoint, EFS/Model, MFC Fire & P2P)
Desired Skills:
Proven interpersonal and leadership skills
Experience interfacing with USG/DOD customers
Expertise managing MFC CSR package & OS&P Model data/reports
Demonstrated problem solving ability (identifies problems and develop and implement solutions)
Ability to lead and work well within teams
Motivated and able to grow and develop in a large organization
Strong Leadership Potential
