Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. is recruiting for a Senior Finance Analyst, located in Los Angeles, Ca.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to build a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions, and approvals.

It is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, this position may be conveyed with New Consumer Health. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to the successful candidate by New Consumer Health at an appropriate time and would be subject to any necessary consultation processes.

The Senior Financial Analyst will provide financial leadership for our NEUTROGENA®, CLEAN & CLEAR®, and ROGAINE® US Businesses.

This role is pivotal in helping to lead the business by evaluating sales and marketing investment opportunities for growth, collaborating cross-functionally to evaluate pipeline innovation opportunities, and proactively making recommendations to manage short and long-term financial commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analytical and strategic support for enterprise decision making in partnership with Local Marketing, Sales, Demand Planning, Project Management, and Global Marketing counterparts.
  • Support of full marketing P&L management in collaboration with cross-functional partners, including ongoing assessments of risks vs. opportunities.
  • Support Marketing business partners in the evaluation and prioritization of brand marketing expense decisions. Ensure that marketing investments are aligned with and optimized to support the achievement of our forecast commitments.
  • Lead major forecast cycles & actuals reporting, and consolidations across Skin Health West
  • Direct partnership with category leads for sales forecasting and budgeting
  • Providing timely and accurate cost and financial information related to forecasts, new products, and brand marketing expense budgets.
  • Ad hoc support for projects, presentations, and operational improvement initiatives with both finance and cross-functional management.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of progressive finance/accounting or related business experience is required.
  • A CPA, CMA, MBA or other financial certification(s) are preferred.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) experience required
  • Strong general business acumen and technical skills in forecasting, accounting, and investment analytics (i.e. NPV, etc..) are required.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with partners across organizational levels while balancing a portfolio of diverse workstreams in a matrixed cross-functional environment is required.
  • Experience building and delivering PowerPoint presentations to various levels of the organization is preferred.
  • Strong framing, communication, and influencing skills are required.
  • Ecommerce financial modeling experience is preferred.
  • This position is located in Los Angeles, CA and may require up to 5% travel. The role may also be eligible for a remote employee within the U.S.
