Johnson & Johnson, Inc is currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst. The Senior Financial Analyst reports to the Finance Manager for Global Finance. This position is in New Brunswick, NJ and may require up to 5% domestic and international travel.

The Senior Financial Analyst role will provide financial support to the Global Finance Organization. The position will be based in New Brunswick, NJ and the main responsibilities include consolidating and analyzing global expense and headcount results for forecast and actual reporting on behalf of the function. He/she will also develop packages for quarterly / annual budgets and the long-range strategic plan to be presented to senior finance management. This includes leveraging new enterprise suite reporting tools to prepare analytics, corporate scorecards and financial risk assessments.

The Senior Financial Analyst will also help develop several ad-hoc reports to measure and track achievement of several multi-year transformation initiatives with high visibility. He/she will be actively engaged in business decisions and discussions on challenges and opportunities within a collaborative team environment. The role will have heavy interaction with finance management on a regular basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Consolidation of Global Finance Forecasts and Actual Results
  • Lead enhanced data analytics and reporting of global expenses and headcount
  • Analyze, interpret and translate complex data into value-added insights for finance and business leadership
  • Lead & participate in ad-hoc (strategic) projects, operational improvement initiatives and support of Corporate level updates and/or special requests
  • Participate in functional or career development training
  • Ensure that the principles and elements of the Credo, J&J business policies, Healthcare Compliance, Regulatory, GAAP, and Sarbanes Oxley are adhered to all aspects of the job responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance
  • A minimum of three year’s finance or related business experience is required
  • An MBA, CPA, or CMA is a plus.
  • Must possess excellent analytical, conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills while working in a dynamic and agile team environment
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to quickly learn new business software tools and applications is required. Familiarity with TM1 is a plus.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required (Formulas, VLOOKUP functions, Pivot Tables).
  • Individual must work well in a collaborative environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously under tight timelines.
