Intuit’s Finance team drives business growth and profitability through strategic, financial and operational leadership. Our team is comprised of finance, accounting, supply chain, corporate strategy & development and tax professionals that support and enhance Intuit’s operating efficiencies.

Come join the Finance team as a Finance business partner. The team supports the Go-to-Market teams through strategic and insightful business analysis and overall business partnership. This role will be the primary Financial/Business partner to the Business Unit leader supporting the team in delivering plan and forecast commitments.

What you’ll bring

You will be a qualified Finance business partner with strong analytical skills and an innate commercial understanding. You will also have demonstrable experience of acting as a business partner, supporting and challenging non-finance stakeholders. As this role involves constant interaction with senior non-finance stakeholders across the business, you will need the confidence and emotional intelligence to effectively communicate at all levels. The ideal candidate will have worked in the high-tech industry and will enjoy operating in an extremely fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Qualified CPA/CMA or equivalent.
  • Undergrad Business Degree (BBA/BCom) and/or MBA, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years post qualified experience in roles supporting business decision making.
  • Experience working and supporting money platform team (Payments, capital, banking, risk or money movement).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with experience in presenting to business partners and senior executives with confidence, conviction, and credibility.
  • Instrumental in providing insights and support based on sound analytics that drive business performance.
  • Ability to influence all levels of leadership to drive actions, behaviors, decisions and business outcomes.
  • Exceptional track record of self-motivation, prioritization, initiative, and integrity.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with experience in presenting to business partners and senior executives with confidence, conviction, and credibility.
  • Advanced experience with Excel and PowerPoint applications.
  • Hyperion EssBase, Tableau, SQL experience preferred, along with the ability to model and analyze complex business scenarios.

How you will lead

  • As the Lead Finance business partner to the Fintech Business Segment & Product Leader – UK & Canada for the QuickBooks Money Platform (comprising Payments, Capital, Banking and Risk and Money Movement), you will be a key member of the Go Global with Money Mission that includes Product (PM, XD) teams from within QuickBooks, Product Marketing in UK & Canada, Research, as well as various key teams across Analytics, and Money Partnerships.
  • You will Partner with the QuickBooks Money Platform team (Payments, Capital, Banking, Risk and Money Movement) to help build a commercial view of the 3- and 1-year strategy to deliver industry leading growth and breakthrough customer benefit for our international markets.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Quickbooks money platform team, proactively highlighting risk and opportunities related to business growth and optimal investment decisions or outcomes and providing business modeling and what-if scenarios in an effort to drive short, medium and long term decisions.
  • Guide data-driven strategic decisions, and frame business context to support actionable product recommendations.
  • Exhibit sound commercial acumen when evaluating sales channels, web & e-commerce platforms and additional ways of driving business growth.
  • Work in close collaboration with the Go Global with Money mission team to deliver the annual plan to accelerate international growth; identify and prioritize in-year growth opportunities and key financial risks.
  • Contribute to day-to-day business operations of the organization, including the 3- and 1-year planning process, monthly financial KPI reporting, annual and quarterly goal setting and tracking, etc.
