Job summary
Amazon seeks a highly motivated Financial Analyst to play a key role in Operations Finance supporting the Worldwide Real Estate (WWRE) Team. WWRE is responsible for acquisition and management of facilities across the Amazon Fulfillment Network. This is a great opportunity to support WWRE in a role with high impact and visibility to essential, business-critical processes, and will require interactions with Directors and VP’s across Operations and Finance.

Career opportunities:
• Drive long- and short-term financial planning, including facilitate financial reviews with key partner business partners
• Create effective business partnerships, manage competing priorities, and advise WWRE based on data analytics
• Lead financial modeling and analysis for new initiatives
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Identify opportunities to resolve defects proactively. Improve, scale, and simplify finance tools across teams and organizations
• Uses active listening skills to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner. Adjusts style for various audiences to clearly articulate complex finance issues
• Contribute to work life harmony by being a positive, collaborative, and effective influencer to team members

The Worldwide Real Estate (WWRE) Team is responsible for acquisition and management of facilities across the Amazon Fulfillment Network. In support of WWRE, Operations Finance is looking for individuals that enjoy a challenge and have a desire for professional growth opportunities and continuous learning. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3+ years of finance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• MBA and/or Professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, or CMA)
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (SQL, Tableau, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
