The Accounts Payable Accountant will handle day-to-day responsibilities related to the company’s accounts payable functions. This position is located in Warsaw and will report to the Global Accounts Payable Manager in Warsaw.

You will be an energetic and self-motivated professional, happy to have a hands-on role and you will get involved in a wide range of processes, in order to understand and implement improvements and standardization. 

Key tasks for this ambitious and outgoing candidate will include the following, but are not limited to:

  • collaborating with vendors on resolution of outstanding accounting cases (i.e. rejected invoices, statements of accounts)
  • uploading to the system, coding and booking invoices, support transactions and resolve issues
  • following up and resolving open balances and inquiries
  • resolving rejection failures in payments
  • reviewing and approving vendor master data changes
  • Review and approve expense reports for TRUSTWAVE employees
  • debit balances / overpayment recoveries
  • supporting TRUSTWAVE employees from specific locations within accounting/ payment issues
  • handling and resolving questions and issues raised by our business units, related to Procure to Pay and Vendor Master Data
  • Performing Month end closing tasks (Accruals, coordinate to close accounts payable module)
  • Process vendor statement analysis and maintain all vendor files
  • Provide accurate and efficient Accounts Payables processing and analysis.
  • Preparing payment proposals on a weekly basis
  • Ability to meet deadlines for designated tasks without compromising quality of work
  • Assume additional responsibilities as needed.


  • understanding of financial accounting and its principles
  • 1-3 years in an accounts payable department
  • NetSuite and Coupa experience a plus
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • Ability to work independently
  • great communication skills and a constructive mindset towards challenges
  • very good communication in English
  • ability and willingness to learn
  • self-driven, proactive and flexible
  • feeling of ownership and responsibility for the tasks
  • team player, with can do attitude

College/university degree, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent.
We prefer college-educated applicants, but at minimum, high school diploma or equivalent is required for employment.
