Job Description

Assure assigned tax reporting requirements are prepared accurately and filed timely with applicable taxing jurisdictions. Research and apply jurisdictional tax laws and regulations for compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and/or review assigned federal and state tax returns
  • Reconcile and integrate state apportionment factors
  • Prepare book vs. tax account differences
  • Prepare quarterly estimated income and franchise tax computations
  • Assist with cash forecasting for taxes
  •  Administer fixed asset calculation and reports
  • Assist with foreign reporting
  • Assist with financial reporting packages, including tax account reconciliations and tax account activity
  • Prepare various tax data for federal and state/local jurisdictional audits
  • Assist with research initiatives
  • Compile data for property, sales, and government tax filings

 

 

Qualifications

  • B.S.in Accounting or Finance is required
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of public and/or private Corporate tax experience is a must
  • Strong Excel skills are required (i.e. pivots, lookups, and formulas)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work well independently and with others
