Finance Operations Accounting & Analysis (FOAA) is looking for a Sr Program Manager, FOAA PMO BPI (Business Process Improvement). In this role, you will develop and drive transformational financial initiatives along with a cross-functional team of senior financial analysts, business intelligence engineers, and process/project managers. You will have opportunities to solve significant business problems through process re-engineering and innovative technology. You will also work on strategic projects to define and create brand new processes that have not done before. You will work with exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people who believe partnership is critical to customer success. This is a chance to work hard driving financial transformation activities across FOAA’s three shared service centers in Costa Rica, China and India.
The successful candidate must be able to think strategically, perform dive deep analytics on existing processes, identify re-engineering activities, and drive enterprise level new technology delivery. The successful candidate will have shown experience in past roles influencing business owners and supporting decision making in rapidly evolving environments. The role requires a self-starter with the ability to be both strategic and analytical in their support of new initiatives. The candidate must have the aptitude to incorporate new approaches and methodologies that are grounded in data-based recommendations. This role also has regular interaction with senior leaders and therefore requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Key job responsibilities
Facilitate cross-functional Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) workshops across regions on critical business metrics/ processes. Identify opportunities to significantly improve the process in terms of productivity, quality & controller-ship.
Mentor & train Lean Six Sigma Green Belt candidates.
Lead the Change management efforts to implement transformation opportunities identified through BPR workshops.
A day in the life
Do process and data analysis on key business processes and metrics to identify potential areas for new BPR workshops.
Connect with cross-functional teams to gather info to facilitate the BPR workshop.
Help the process owners and GB/YB candidates with the project charter, mentoring and training.
Drive project completion and ensure workshop objectives are met.
About the team
FOAA PMO BPI team is a team of highly motivated change catalysts. Most of the team members are LSS BB/MBBs.
Each of the team member own 4-5 functions/ metrics for FOAA and drive improvements across service centers.
MBA/ Consulting experience in Process transformation will be a plus,
Knowledge of process improvement tools (six sigma, Lean methodologies)
Knowledge of Robotics Process Automation (RPA),
7+ years of experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Experience of facilitating BPR/ Design thinking/ Kaizen workshops with senior stakeholders as participants is must.
Six Sigma Black belt or equivalent certification
Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and drive transformation projects to completion
Demonstrated ability to influence decisions through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning ad the presentation of alternatives
Ability to successfully influence stakeholders without formal authority, leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units.
