THE POSITION 
Our roster has an opening with your name on it

We are looking for a Payroll Director that will lead the payroll function to ensure smooth operation of all payroll matters. Reporting directly to the Total Rewards Vice President, the candidate will be involved in a wide range of duties. The successful candidate must be capable of traveling to a local office as needed. 

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Manage global payroll operations and lead the processing and accurate completion of the payroll processes for 3,000 employees in the US, UK and Canada
  • Maintain payroll / audit reports in accordance with ALL state and federal requirements
  • Initiate and support process improvement and efficiencies across payroll to streamline processes
  • Ensure compliance with SOX requirements; and all pay polices comply with State and Federal requirements
  • Remain current on new legislation and regulatory rulings impacting all domestic and international payrolls
  • Manage compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements
  • Establish, maintain and enforce proper payroll policies and procedures
  • Process accurate and timely year – end reporting (W2- W2C, etc)
  • Coach, mentor and provide leadership development to team members to optimize operational excellence and create a deeper bench of experienced talent
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure proper accounting of payroll liabilities, tax reconciliation, etc

THE STATS
What we’re looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in payroll preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field is preferred
  • Payroll experience with UK & Canada employees is a plus
  • Proven work experience with supervisory experience
  • Excellent business orientation, with a good understanding of the key drivers, issues and constraints of the business
  • Results oriented: able to collaborate with different individuals across the organization, and “roll-up the sleeves” in order to accomplish all necessary tasks.
  • Experience with an HRIS, preferably Ceridian Dayforce; along with advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data
