Meta is seeking to fill the position of Program Manager within our Finance Transformation organization. This role will be responsible for planning, leading and executing on global, cross-functional, enterprise-wide projects that impact the Finance organization. We are seeking a seasoned professional with expertise in Financial Institutions to work closely with Finance and supporting technical teams to drive process and system capabilities and improvements that enable scale. This leadership role is accountable for partnering with a large variety of cross-functional stakeholders to optimize finance processes, systems and controls with an eye to modernizing foundational tools used by the finance and broader community to enable scalable solutions to support business growth, enhance our internal controls and mitigate financial risks by closely collaborating with global finance teams, engineering, product and compliance functions. The ability to think critically and plan and execute effectively while collaborating across teams and locations will be key to success in this role.

Program Manager, Finance Transformation Responsibilities:

  • Partner with key functional leaders to understand their objectives, technology roadmaps, and process changes to develop a transformation roadmap based on prioritized initiatives
  • Develop concise and compelling business cases for proposed projects and programs
  • Ensure appropriate sponsorship and align stakeholders around initiative goals
  • Develop strong stakeholder relationships, maintaining effective communication channels
  • Determine business roles and resources needed to ensure successful project or program delivery
  • Prepare detailed analysis, plans, milestones, deliverables and overall status updates for projects
  • Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Legal, Enterprise Product, Compliance, InfoSec, Internal Audit, etc.) to create detailed project plans to accomplish a transformation roadmap
  • Establish communications cadence to ensure appropriate program governance
  • Influence decision making and problem solving across projects and teams
  • Proactively manage program risks and develop mitigation strategies to meet the broader organization goals, milestones and objectives

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Experience with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Experience thinking strategically and manage ambiguity, risk, and changing direction of projects and priorities
  • Experience working in cross-functional global environment and with all levels of employees from entry-level to leadership
  • Experience designing and implementing business processes and systems based on business priorities
  • Experience delivering quality communications, including development of key messages
  • Experience in Commerce, Content, Creator, Metaverse, Payments businesses, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in project management, accounting, finance or a similar field
  • MBA, CPA, or advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, or IT
  • PMP certification
  • Experience with Treasury, Accounting or Financial Services operations, processes, and controls
