Hybrid role – In office 2x weekly Charleston, WV office.
As a member of the finance team, you will become the primary contact for researching claim and enrollment issues, supporting the development of scoreable action items by working with health plan staff and corporate partners to identify outlier cost issues, be responsible for the submission of and tracking of scorable action items for budget and financial reporting, leading and participating in various workgroups to improve claim processing efficiencies and encounter submissions, as well as monitor financial accuracy of encounter submissions to the State regulator. This position will participate in State meetings and represent Finance in resolving premium or eligibility issues and auditing data and reporting to ensure compliance to State contract requirements. This position will also support and ensure timely submission of all contract amendments and fee schedule updates to the Medical Economic Unit. Additional duties will include cross-training in Accounts Payable to assist with invoice submissions, completing Purchase Order requests or Statement of Work and completing monthly finance schedules that will support budget. Other duties as assigned.
Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite products inlcuding Excel.

1+ years of claims processing or general accounting experience acquired through previous work or education- strongly preferred;
Experience working with claims adjudication systems;
Bachelors degree in Finance or related field
High School Education GED or Diploma
