This position (Financial Analyst 5) will be responsible for HQ Cost Center controlling including financial analysis, forecasting and reporting for the Diagnostics (DX) business of Siemens Healthineers within the Headquarter legal entities – especially for the US entity 469G.

Responsibilities also include the governance for all Headquarter entities regarding Cost Center structures and allocation controlling as well as an active development of digital and automated solutions across those. The position involves a high level of engagement across the LD Finance Organization and is based in Tarrytown, NY.

Responsibilities

• Concept and design for the visualization of financial KPI using advanced planning and analysis tools, as well as automation & digitalization within the DX Finance Organization

• Central role in the management of projects related to the consolidation of financial key figures with focus on Jedox and interfaces to HQ functions like R&D, SCM, …

• Responsible for the monthly closing process including analysis & reporting of actuals as well as the development of cost center forecasts for 469G with focus on data integrity

• Gatekeeper for harmonized planning data across all HQ legal entities and development of further automation within the planning and reporting landscape

• Significant role in the steering of the global budget process ensuring harmonized figures across the planning landscape including reviews with all Headquarter entities, with the LD CFO and the Finance Management Team

• Further development of the allocation controlling for 469G incl. alignment and collaboration with all interfaces (e.g. Accounting, Information Technologies) to ensure a high quality esp. within the consumption based allocations

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

• Masters Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field

• Required past experience: 5-8 years’ experience

• Required amount of travel: < 5%

• Other required knowledge, skills, or expertise:

oAdvance knowledge of MS Office Applications and automation, planning and analysis tools such as Jedox, Qlik Sense, UiPath, etc. (Database knowledge is a plus)

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

• Preferred past experience / education in Accounting or Finance

• Other preferred knowledge, skills, or expertise: IT savvy with a good understanding of P&L and Balance Sheet items
