Job summary
AWS is building a new application for Cloud Economics to demonstrate the business value of migrating workloads to AWS services. This will have a tremendous impact on accelerating the sales process. We are looking for software engineers that enjoy creating highly scalable products from scratch – with full-stack experience ranging from UX technologies, large scale data systems, and analytics. You will be part of a new team and have the opportunity to be involved in starting the engineering effort. We are building several new ML-driven services that will transform the sales and marketing ecosystem. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with 8+ years industry experience
• Experience in Agile/SCRUM enterprise-scale software development
• Experience with more than one of Java, C/C++, C#
• Experience leading teams designing and delivering systems level software.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Advanced/Master’s degree in or Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline
• Strong back ground in data structures, algorithms, data processing, distributed systems, and analytics
• Experience mentoring/training the engineering community on complex technical issues
• Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
• Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role

Key job responsibilities
Meet with Product Managers and understand the requirements. Create the architecture for the product using native AWS services so that the product is scalable in the volume of data and users. Design all the modules and deliver code using the agile scrum and CICD methodology. Be responsible for the effort estimation and testing. Ensure the deliverables meet the AWS operational readiness and operational excellence standards. Develop prototypes to validate the design meets all metrics.
