Within the WW Specialized Organization, the Strategy & Operations team exists to bolster the deep collaborative relationship AWS has with our customers. Our customers are pushing the boundaries of how our services are used and are looking for creative ways to broaden their usage of AWS to deliver platforms for delivering differentiated services to their customers.

We are looking for a Sr. Program Manager to join the Strategy & Operations Program Management Office (PMO). As part of this team, you will drive cross functional programs, focused on improving the operational cadence of the organization and preparing new AWS services for Launch. You will coordinate with Sr. Leadership, and drive programs and escalations directly visible to the CEO of AWS.
You must be comfortable working cross functionally and demonstrate bias for action. Being able to establish trust with a variety of stakeholders across multiple time zones, improve processes, and find creative way to remove blockers are a must.

The Sr. PM will be fully competent in a variety of program management tools, methodologies and techniques for all phases of the project lifecycle and exhibit demonstrated proficiency in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, resources, risk management, reporting and metric development/tracking..

Location: U.S. city with AWS corporate office.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of Program Management/Project Management experience
  • Go to Market (GTM) experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in Go to Market (GTM), Business Development or Sales Operations
  • 7+ years of project management/program management experience
  • Proven experience writing and editing executive level communications and reports
  • Ability to influence at executive level, internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, and risk
  • Experience in process improvement
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (or the like) or actively pursuing certification
  • Well organized and able to work effectively under time pressure
  • Experience using Asana, or other PM tools
  • Proven ability to lead projects and independently scope, prioritize and execute initiatives

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $133,875- $181,125/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
