AMXL is a single-threaded organization that owns the end to end customer experience for heavy and bulky products. AMXL consolidates supply chain, tech, FC operations, transportation, delivery stations, and last mile delivery. We also provide special handling services such as Room of Choice delivery, Haul-Away and Installation/Assembly for select items. ASIN selection includes products greater than 50 lbs, longer than 96″, or girth greater than 130″ and products that require special delivery requirements. AMXL currently has operations in NA & EU.

We’re looking for passionate leaders who wants to take the next step in their career and support implementing key training processes for the coming generations of Amazon field associates. As the Sr. Program Manager, Associate Training, your main mission is to deliver key training initiatives that lead to higher associate competence in safety, efficiency, and quality.

The Sr. Program Manager, Associate Training is responsible for collaborating with multiple stakeholders across the organization to modify, develop, and implement programs that impact our associates by building partnerships with key stakeholder groups. Additionally, this role will partner to build and support long-term strategic plans to improve the associate experience and take a leading role in stakeholder management. The Senior Program Manager will regularly assess learning needs, using data and insights into the business to iterate or adapt learning methods, materials or technology that will support the associates.

Key job responsibilities
• Have a detailed understanding of processes, expectations, and training requirements for all associates across the various associate programs in Operations.
• Work closely with customers to ensure that training programs lead to higher associate competence, safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Manage large, complex initiatives, delivering critical solutions, significant improvements, new mechanisms, or deprecating systems that are no longer needed. These efforts require work with multiple teams in and/or across organizations.
• Work closely with World Wide (WW) Training, WW Standards, Regional Learning, WHS, Centralized Operations, Ops Integration, Change Management, and Last-Mile Tech teams to ensure that training is aligned with workflows for associates.
• Influence business strategy, project priorities and resource allocation to achieve a desired business outcome.
• Develop and maintain strong mechanisms to track the current and future states of the various Associate Training programs.
• Identify appropriate metrics and build reporting mechanisms that grant relevant stakeholders’ visibility to associate training effectiveness.
• Set the direction of the program in the near and long-term with the rest of the Associate Training Team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience in program management, operations, logistics, or learning and development.
• Practical knowledge and skill in the use of project management methodologies and tools
• A proven track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
• Communicate effectively and credibly both verbally and in writing.
• Track record of delivering learning results and navigating through ambiguity
• Highly skilled at conducting training needs assessments, analyzing and prioritizing learning and development needs, and capable of linking recommendations to bottom line business impact.
• Extensive knowledge and practice of learning design: adult learning, on the job learning, management theories, and principles in both virtual and in-person events.
• Program management and administration experience: organization, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, using time well, and consistently delivering results.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to and negotiating services with cross-functional senior management
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
• Experience in authoring program strategy and end-to-end program delivery
• Proactive track record of improving processes and tools, contributing to the effectiveness of the program and operational efficiency; with an emphasis on demonstrating return on investment in training
• Knowledge of instructional theories such as: adult learning, on the job learning, knowledge management theories, virtual and classroom instruction
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, and must be comfortable engaging with senior level leaders
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous, fast-paced, and constantly changing situations and assignments
• Cross-functional project management experience
• B2+ knowledge of an additional European language such as: German, French, Italian, and/or Spanish
