Senior Program Manager

Job summary
Are you excited to drive high-visibility, strategic supply chain solutions and own Amazon’s operations planning and forecasting? The North America Supply Chain Operations team is looking for a talented program manager who will create multi-year demand plans and optimize the capacity allocation across the entire fulfillment network at Amazon. As a team player, you have an opportunity to work with some of the best Technical Engineers, Program Managers, 160+ Fulfillment Centers (FC) and Return Centers (RC) located across the network and Business Leaders to design the best fulfillment network on the planet.

This role requires working with cross-functional business teams across the company to jointly define requirements, process/system solutions and managing the timelines for all current and future field operations teams to support new generation launches. This position involves regular communication with senior management on develop insights to identify risks/opportunities.

This position requires analytical thinking, ability to understand complex data, diving deep through various information sources and working closely with other Technical Engineers and Program Managers to rapidly prototype and deliver solutions. This position also requires you to work across a variety of teams including: Supply Chain Optimization Technology (SCOT), Category, World Wide Design and Engineering, Real Estate, Launch, Transportation, Operations, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), and Finance. Successful candidates must thrive in fast-paced environments which encourage collaborative and creative problem solving and data across various data marts.

Key Job Responsiblities:
(i) Recommend the full year capacity build plans during operational planning cycles after analyzing impact on cost, customer experience, seller experience, demand and capacity gap
(ii) Manage stakeholder priorities and project schedules
(iii) Analyze the impact of changes in business and update build plans to meet changing demand
(iv) Liaise with launch and engineering teams to ensure timely launches

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree
• 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain Strategy and/or Operations
• 3+ years of experience in Program Management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Masters Degree or Masters in Business Administration (MBA)
• Experience in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
• Experience developing new solutions based on fact based data driven information
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
• Experience with supply chain management concepts including planning, forecasting and optimization gained through work experience or graduate level education
