Today thousands of Amazon Sellers from more than 130 different countries around the world fulfill orders to customers in 185 countries using FBA. Last year FBA in EU served more than 2 billion units.

FBA Operations, Supply Chain and Seller Experience (SX) team in EU currently seeks a creative, dynamic and experienced BI Lead to join the Inventory/Capacity Management work stream. As a BI Lead, you will lead a small team and directly contribute to the strategic data analytics projects with a primary focus on cost optimization and continuous SX improvement.

The ideal candidate is a results-oriented innovator, who is willing to apply a bar-raising intellect and outstanding curiosity to solve really complex supply chain analytics problems on behalf of the Seller. You’re expected to demonstrate a proven track record of successfully completed analytics projects with a direct positive impact on business despite ambiguous environment, technical constraints and tight deadlines.

The preferred locations for this role is LUXEMBOURG. Other location options include UK, GERMANY, FRANCE, ITALY and SPAIN.

Key job responsibilities

  • Retrieve and analyze the terabytes of data leveraging modern BI tools.
  • Develop and monitor the business metrics, while partnering with internal and external teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities
  • Design and implement automated reporting solutions to enable Program Managers to drive the adoption of various programs and initiatives as well as to improve SX
  • Discover and implement cost reduction opportunities
  • Participate in cross-functional analytics projects and collaborate with BI teams across Europe and US
  • Coach and lead a team of 2 people

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience in the data/BI space
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, Operations Research, Finance, Economics or similar
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in business intelligence, business analytics, statistics, data engineering, data science or related field
  • Experience gathering requirements, and designing data system solutions to meet customer needs
  • Experience using SQL, ETL and databases in a business environment
  • Experience with data visualization using PowerBI, Tableau, Amazon QuickSight, or similar tools
  • Record of delivering medium and large analytical solutions with business impact
  • Impeccable attention to detail, passion for processes, systems and data mining

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, Operations Research, Finance, Economics or similar
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in business intelligence, business analytics, statistics, data engineering, data science or related field
  • Experienced working in a fast-paced, high-tech environment
  • Experience with large-scale data warehousing and analytics projects, including using AWS technologies
  • Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: R, Python, SAS.
  • Superior communication and analytical skills, including strong ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems and work well with cross functional teams
  • Experience in managing small teams, including hiring, coaching, and promoting individual contributors.
