We are looking for a strategic, results-oriented, and self-driven Sr. Technical Program Manager to own product growth programs and work with customers, product, and other Go-To-Market (GTM) teams to take our business to the next level.

Analytics, Database, and AI/ML Services team within AWS is responsible for setting the strategy and delivering services to AWS customers for the analytics, databases, and AI/ML market segments. We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to help us grow the business in the analytics, database, and AI/ML services market segment. The ideal candidate will be excited about understanding, implementing, and owning new and repeatable product growth programs to help grow our business. They will do this by partnering with key stakeholders across product, marketing, and GTM teams, digging deeper to understand and identify relevant programs, and implementing and owning these programs to continue to globally scale our business. This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities as well as an outstanding business acumen. The ideal candidate knows and loves our customers (internal and external) and will work back from them to create structured programs and mechanisms to improve customer experience, drive product adoption, and deliver profitable growth. They are experts in partnering and earning trust with operations/business leaders and working across cross functional teams to deliver on shared objectives.

Key job responsibilities
• Conceive, implement, and own new and existing product-led GTM programs to help continue the growth of our business.
• Work across cross functional teams like product, marketing, and GTM teams and be the linchpin for success of these programs.

• Understand the technical and capability requirements of our customers and work closely with the product team to guide the direction of our product offerings.
• Identify specific customer segments, industry verticals, and product capabilities to approach the customers with a value proposition for using AWS.
• Manage product launches, build feature adoption tools, develop product adoption collateral, and run field enablement sessions.
• Create program/project plans, secure commitments, identify risks, and mitigations.
• Report on program and project progress and status consistently and in a transparent way.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement through mentoring, feedback, and metrics.
• Own all operational metrics and support for the programs.
• Consistently bring strong, data-driven business and technical judgment to decisions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience managing product-led GTM programs across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes, and delivering business growth.
• Experience leading GTM and growth programs for highly technical products involving infrastructure, complex systems, distributed systems, or similar technical products.
• Demonstrated ability to manage product launches, build feature adoption tools, develop product adoption collateral, and run field enablement sessions.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Proven problem solving skills, program management skills, attention to detail, ability to influence others, and exceptional organizational skill.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent writing skills, to create artifacts easily digestible by business and technology stakeholders.
• Be self-driven, and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete data.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.
• Technical knowledge or familiarity with data warehousing, business intelligence, analytics, databases, and AI/ML technologies.
• Experience with cloud technologies.
