Job summary
Amazon seeks a Technical Program Manager that combines collaborative and analytical skills with a passion for problem solving on behalf of our customers. You would be joining the Transportation Network Planning team in our EU headquarters to help deliver customer packages faster, more reliably and at a lower cost. You will be responsible for managing technical projects/products from conceptualization to implementations.

Job responsibilities
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Understanding of Program Management techniques
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies, SCRUM, Waterfall
- Experience in data engineering / business intelligence space
- Strong understanding of ETL concepts and experience building them with large-scale, complex data sets using traditional or map reduce batch mechanism.
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience designing and operating very large Data Warehouses
- Experience with scripting for automation (e.g., UNIX Shell scripting, Python, Perl, Ruby).
- Experience in data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Quicksight).
- Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize tasks
- The ability to comfortably and confidently present to all levels within the enterprise and to work with both technical and non-technical individuals.
- Results oriented person with a strong delivery focus who can work independently and collaboratively with global teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree or equivalent in a business or analytical field
- Experience in logistic or transportation industry
- Experience in Statistical Software such as R
- Knowledge of machine learning, data mining, and predictive modeling
- Experience in software programming (in C, C++, Java)
