DESCRIPTION

Job summary
The Worldwide Sales Strategy, Operations & Enablement (SSOE) team is building the future of sales. We operate with a startup mentality, build mechanisms that scale, and innovate solutions on behalf of our customers. We are obsessed with delivering results for customers and supporting sales organizations, from Sales Leaders to Solutions Architects and everything in between, to shape the direction of the business. We are a diverse, innovative team that loves translating data, insights, and anecdotes into action.

The AWS Worldwide Sales Insights, Analytics and Data Science team is seeking a Sales Insights and Analytics Lead with strong data extraction skills (advanced SQL), strong business acumen, ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business units and geographies, and a deep analytical background to help in assessing business performance, developing insights (building dashboards end-to-end), creating efficiencies, and delivering results to the AWS Worldwide SSOE team as it continues to scale. We leverage large data sets (millions-to-billions of records) to surface insights on the productivity for our Sales, Technical Sales, and Sales Operations teams. Our goal is to create metrics and measure success of programs, build automated mechanisms for internal planning, and invent new ways of diving deep with data to drive specific business outcomes that will help us serve our customers in their journey to the cloud. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual that seeks to “tell the story” of the data with little direction or supervision.

Business Operations Analytics: Help us democratize the analytics and insights associated with running a multi-billion-dollar business through data visualization best practices and going deep on key operational challenges.
