Job summary
Amazon Merchant Service started from 2002 in the United States and now it accounts for 30% of all units sold on Amazon websites globally. Amazon China Merchant Service team was built in 2010 and is growing rapidly in terms of team size and sales revenue and the trend continues. “Global Selling” service within Amazon Merchant Service team allows China 3rd party sellers to open a store and sell their products on Amazon Global.
We are looking for talented and ambitious Listing Specialists to join Amazon Global Selling China team based in Shanghai, to help CN selling partners succeed in Amazon worldwide marketplaces especially Japan marketplace. This position will be responsible for key partners in Amazon Global Selling Business. Responsibilities include identifying the opportunities to enhance content quality in product detail page to drive better customer shopping experience, providing sophisticated business insights to category level, and partnering with selling partners to drive selection quality and maximize revenue generation. The successful candidate will be comfortable communicating effectively across teams and internal & external, also be able to execute every operational detail. This role requires strong customer obsession view to know what customer wants and how to provide better customer experience, good process management to ensure smooth operation and merchants’ experience, meanwhile also requires to be curious to identify the insights to influence business and opportunities to improve the Amazon products. Flexibility and the ability to prioritize in a changing and competitive business environment will also be key. Our team culture is collaborative and driven to results. Key job responsibilities
• Understands customers’ needs and deliver results by executing routine and transactional customer engagement
• Identifies and drives resolution of product bugs and high severity events; Escalates issues promptly and appropriately
• Provides value-added recommendations to enhance systems and programs or resolve selling partners’ issues
• Gathers and analyzes insights and shares data to influence business
• Identifies opportunities to improve designed Amazon product based on customer feedback, data analysis, and feature gaps with competitive products
• Audits account performance

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 2-5 years relevant experience in the Customer Service/Account Management/Operation or related industries, with a proven track record of managing relationships and/or projects and taking end-to-end ownership to drive results.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and ability to independently deal with tools (Salesforce, Excel, other internal tools)
• Experienced in using analysis, reporting, modeling, and forecasting to gather data for the purpose of making business decisions
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects – work prioritization, planning and task delegation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and Japanese is required. – Passion for customers and high attention to details.
• BA/BS required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient written and oral in German/French/Italian/Spanish
• MBA from Top tier schools is preferred
• Previous working experience in project management with strong data analysis skills, such as mySQL, PowerBI as a plus
• Have oversea experience in studying and working is preferred.
